Hi! I’m Laura!

In a nutshell, I’m a web designer from Sacramento, CA with a love for all things design, film, photography, writing, and music. I can’t help but dabble in a bit of everything art related.

Graphic & Web Design

I was first introduced to web design and development at the age of 13. I began playing Neopets, an online community, and found myself in charge of managing a guild website. I looked for any excuse to design and build new websites after that. This helped push me to take my web education to the next level and I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Web Design & Interactive Media at The Art Institute of California—Sacramento. I now have 7 years of agency and in-house graphic and web design experience and have worked with various types of clients.

Film

I have always had a love for films so I was extremely excited to take the Introduction to Film class at Ai. After producing my own short film, Cold_Reboot, I’ve constantly been looking for other films to help out on and have been able to build my IMDb credit slowly. As of right now, credited or not, I can claim the following titles: Writer, Director, Assistant Director, Producer, Script Supervisor, Casting Director, and Production Assistant.
